WHAT WE DO

Cuisine Rescue, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that "rescues" un-plated, leftover food from commercial donors and redistributes it to Charleston-area nonofit organizations.       

 In operation since April 2022, we've picked up and delivered 150,000 pounds of food and delivered it to local nonprofits, enabling the creation of 125,000 meals....from food that would have otherwise been thrown away.
 

To expand our impact, we intend to hire a 1099 independent contractor--working up to 40 hours/month at $15/hour--to identify potential food donors and enter into partnerships with  them.
